WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strategic Labor Solutions (SLS) is looking for a highly professional materials handlers for a temporary position at our client’s Mundelein, location. With THREE convenient Staffing Centers in Aurora, Roselle and Buffalo Grove, IL, we put people to work at some of the area’s top companies.

SNAPSHOT:

  • Title: Materials Handler

  • Hours: All shifts available

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 1-3 years previous experience in similar role

  • Forklift certification preferred but not required

DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.

  • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility.

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • May require a certification to operate equipment.

  • Solid verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others.
